• Pownal executive assistant abruptly resigns post | Local News | benningtonbanner.com CCV alumna Tara Parks has been promoted to Pownal executive assistant. Parks graduated from CCV with an associate degree in human services.
• CCV student named Phi Theta Kappa distinguished member | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) CCV-Winooski student Natália Bianchini has been named a 2022 Phi Theta Kappa distinguished member for embodying the honor society’s hallmarks of leadership, scholarship, service, and fellowship.
• CEDRR: Two events scheduled for April | Local News | rutlandherald.com CCV participated in the 4th Annual Real Rutland Feud on April 30. This event raised funds for the Real Rutland regional marketing initiative.
• Northshire Career Expo coming Monday | Business | manchesterjournal.com CCV presented information regarding training, education, and financial aid at the Northshire Career Expo. This free event was organized around Vermont’s best-bet career and training programs, aiming to help Vermonters searching for a new career.
• Bennington legal clinic proposed, with student assistance | Local News | benningtonbanner.com Vermont Legal Aid proposed a legal clinic to come to Bennington. Their business model would include using students from CCV to assist legal staff in handling cases for low-income and working families.
• StJ Art On The Street Debuts Spring Exhibit | Entertainment | caledonianrecord.com CCV is displaying artwork as part of the spring St. J Art on the Street exhibit. Curated by CCV staff member Cindy Swanson, this exhibit features work by CCV-Newport art and design students.

The McClure Free Degree Promise through the Early College program at CCV offers Vermont students in grades 8-11 the chance to earn a free associate degree after they graduate from high school. The program announcement has been covered by news outlets throughout Vermont:
