CCV/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Partnership to Provide Hospital Jobs

MONTPELIER, Vt. — A new partnership between the Community College of Vermont (CCV) and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) builds on the success of CCV’s Healthcare Support Services program to create a training and employment pathway for Vermont and New Hampshire residents looking for a career at DHMC. Successful participants will be offered employment upon completion of the program at DHMC.

Selected participants in the Healthcare Support Services program will have an opportunity to train in both the environmental services and nutritional services departments at DHMC. Participants will also earn the National Career Readiness Certificate, the Governor’s Career Readiness Certificate, OSHA-10, Infection Control Training, and ServSafe training and certification. Healthcare Support Services is a collaborative effort that includes Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, Creative Workforce Solutions, and the Vermont and New Hampshire Departments of Labor.
